Job Description
| Pescara, South Italy. Summer position. Au-pair needed for family with two children, Caterina aged 12 and Alessandro aged 8. Religion: R/C. Dad is a broker, mum works in a bank. The family live in an apartment in a small block of flats with garden near the sea and within the city limits. Other help kept: a housekeeper for 5 hours per week for all the housework. Requirements: Ability to Cook/Swimmer/Driver/Non-Smoker or willing to smoke only outside/Experience/English Mother Tongue/Minimal knowledge of Spanish. Duties: general childcare. The family are looking for a dog lover. Use of car and internet given. 3 month placement. Accommodation: own private bedroom with internet. Approx hrs of work: 7.30 am to 9.30 am and 4.15 pm to 7.30 pm. Total daily hrs: 5. Time off: 2 days including the evenings and another 4 evenings off per week. You are asked to babysit for a maximum of 1 evening a week. Salary: € 150.00 p/w, net, negotiable (around £124.00 p/w, at the current rate of exchange). Family's interests: Outings to the mountains and seaside. The family go on holiday to the mountains and the beach. They have a dog, a Bernese Mountain Dog. This is a nice summer position ideal for a candidate who wants to get a taste of the Italian culture and who loves the beach.
