Job Description
| Florence, North Italy. Summer position. Au-pair needed for family with 4 girls, Chiara aged 16, Maddalena aged 15, Nerina aged 12 and Nicoletta aged 9. Religion: R/C. Dad has his own business, mum is a teacher. The family speak French, Spanish and of course Italian. They live on a hill overlooking Florence. Public Transport is 1 minute away from the family's home. Other help kept: a housekeeper for all the housework for 15 hours per week. Requirements: Non-Smoker or willing to smoke only outside/English Mother Tongue. Use of internet given. 2 month placement. Accommodation: own private bedroom with air conditioning and bathroom to be shared with the girls. Approx hrs of work: 3.00 pm to 7.00 pm. Total daily hrs: 4. Duties: Speak in English with the girls and help them with their homework and play with them, all in English. Time off: Weekends including the evenings and another 3 evenings off per week. You are asked to babysit for 2 evenings a week. Salary: € 150.00 p/w, net, negotiable (around £ 132.00 p/w, at the current rate of exchange). Family's interests: art, outings to other cities. The family go on holiday to the beach in Tuscany. They have a dog. If you go out in the evening you are asked to be back by 10.30 pm. However at weekends as you are free you can go away for a couple of days to explore different areas if you want. Florence is a beautiful city with lots of things to see and do and a large international community. This is a lovely position with lots of free time to discover gorgeous Tuscany. |
