Job Description

Savona, North Italy by the sea. Summer position. Au-pair needed for family with 1 child, Riccardo aged 10. Religion: Christian. Dad is a dentist, mum is an environmental chemist. The family speak English and of course Italian. Other help kept: a housekeeper for all the housework. Requirements: Experience/English Mother Tongue Swimmer/Non-Smoker Use of internet given. 2 month contract. Approx hrs of work: 8.00 am to 2.00 pm. Total daily hrs: 6. Time off: 1 day including all evenings. The day off will be on a Sunday. If you want to stay out late you could sleep elsewhere Saturday. The other evenings it would be best if you returned by midnight. You are asked to babysit for maximum 1 evening a week. Salary: € 200.00 per week. (Approx £167.00 at the current rate of exchange). The family live in Savona a town on the Italian Riviera 5 minutes by bus to beautiful beaches. The family are looking for a candidate who will teach Riccardo English whilst playing with him. Accommodation: private single bedroom 5 minutes by bus from the beach. Duties: The family are VERY flexible regarding the hours of work and days off. They will agree with you based on the family's and your needs. Family's interests: Walks outdoors in the countryside and in the mountains, beaches, seaside, pool, animals. The family go on holiday to the mountains. This is a nice position in a nice beach resort. The whole coast has beach resort after beach resort, with sandy beaches and shingle beaches. It is easy to travel down the coast as there is a very frequent bus service that goes all along the coast from resort to resort. The French Riviera, the Cote d'Azur, Monte Carlo, Cannes and St Tropez are approx 1 hour away. The family is well know to the agency. They have had three candidates from the USA, two candidates from New Zealand, three from South Africa and one from Australia who were very happy there and completed their contracts. The family have a very sweet cat.
