Job Description
| Palermo, Sicily South Italy. Summer Au-pair needed for family with one daughter, Christin aged 14. Dad is a priest, mum works in HR. Religion: Protestant. The family's home is located in the new area of the city. They will be spending approx 15 days in the countryside, 15 minutes from the city. Requirements: Non-Smoker or willing to smoke only outside/Experience/Excellent English even if not Mother Tongue/Minimal knowledge of Italian. Use of car and internet is given. 3 month placement. Accommodation: private single bedroom with private bathroom. Total daily hrs: 4. Duties: Help mum with housework, help Christin improve her English and if possible also French. Keep her company on the beach, etc. Time off: 1 day including the evening and another 4 evenings a week. You are asked to babysit for a maximum of 2 evenings a week. Salary: € 150.00 p/w, net, negotiable (£ 137.00 at the current rate of exchange). The family have varied interests. They go on holiday to Belmonte Mezzano, in the countryside near Palermo. This is a nice summer position with lots of free time so plenty of opportunities to discover the beautiful island of Sicily with its sandy beaches and history. |
