My mother has a little dog and a full time house keeper. For the rest of the holidays the only housework that might be asked is about kids clothes or help in keeping the kitchen clean. At the end of August the candidate can have a few days off. In July we planned to go to Tuscany at the seaside and in August we planned to go to the Mountains in Cortina Dâ€™Ampezzo. Last week of August and first of September in Umbria. We need someone who takes care of the children especially with the younger one.

Job Description

Summer Position. Rome, Italy. Mother's Help needed for family with two children, Blasco aged 6 & Tancredi aged 2. Religion: R/C. Dad is an estate agent, mum is a lawyer for a private investment bank. The family speak English and of course Italian. In July the family are planning on going to Tuscany by the beach and in August they are planning on going to the mountains in Cortina d'Ampezzo. The last week of August and the first week of September they will spend in Umbria. The main duties will be to take care of the children, especially Tancredi. The family will always be staying in a central location apart from Umbria where the house is in the country. Other help kept: a housekeeper for 9 hours per week for the heavy housework. Requirements: Ability to Swim/Excellent English even if not Mother Tongue/Willing to do Housework. Use of internet given. 2 month placement. The family would also consider a candidate for a 6 month placement if that is preferred. Accommodation: Own private bedroom. Share the bathroom with the children. For 2 weeks you may be asked to share a bedroom Approx hrs of work: 8.00 am to 10.00 am. 2.00 pm to 9.00 pm. Total daily hrs: 9. Duties: Take care of the children, help prepare breakfast and meals. As mum will be working from the 23rd July to the 2nd of August the children will be staying with grandma and you would go with them. Grandma has a small dog and a full-time housekeeper. For the rest of the holidays the only housework that may be required is looking after the children's clothes or helping to keep the kitchen clean. At the end of August you can have a few extra days off. This is a nice summer position ideal for a candidate who is looking for a taste of Italian culture and the opportunity to experience 4 different locations in Italy.
