Job Description
| Short or long term position. Junior Nanny for widowed grandfather who has an 12 year old grandson Alessandrino. Religion: R/C. He lives with his daughter part-time. Granddad is 71 years old and is a retired University professor of economics He now lectures also in Europe and the USA (Washington Dc). The family speak English, French, German and of course Italian. Alessandrino is the son of his only daughter, Valeria who is married and is 40 years old. She works as a chief cabin assistant for Alitalia. The family provide transportation for school runs so school runs are not needed. Valeria lives 40 kms north of Rome in a small villa in the countryside. She comes to Granddad's home with Alessandrino in the afternoon for 3-4 times a week. She would like to have the junior nanny stay in her house twice a month for the whole weekend. Granddad lives in a two floor attic in a villa with a large terrace in the Archaeological center of Rome on top of the Aventino hill. Other help kept: a Sri Lanka butler 3-4 times a week for a total of 12 to 16 hours per week and an ironing lady as needed. Requirements: English Mother Tongue. You will not be required to do any housework for the family but you must be very tidy. Use of car will be given if necessary. Use of internet give. 4 or 6 month placement. Accommodation: small but comfortable single private bedroom with en suite bathroom with shower and bath. The room has a nice view over Magnolia trees. Approx hrs of work: 3.00pm to 9.00 pm.
