Job Description
| Campolongo Maggiore, near Venice, North Italy. Qualified Nanny needed for family with two children, Petra aged 2 and Sveva aged 3 months. Petra goes to day nursery from 8.30 am to to 4.00 pm. Sveva does not go to day nursery. It will not be necessary to pick up Petra from day nursery. Dad has his own business, mum works as a secretary. She is currently on maternity leave and will be returning to work in April. The family need a candidate who can help with the care of Sveva whilst mum is at work (4-6 hours per day) and to help with housework once a week. Some evening babysitting is required (rarely). The family live in a small village however all necessary amenities are nearby (train station, newsagent, post office, bank). Requirements: Ability to Cook/Driver/Non-Smoker/Experience/Willing to do Housework Excellent English even if not Mother Tongue. Use of internet and car given. 5 month contract. Accommodation: private bedroom with small double bed and wardrobe. The candidate will have a bathroom which is shared with the children only for nappy changing at night as the nappy changing unit is in the bathroom. Approx hrs of work: 8.00 am to 12 noon and 2.00 pm to 8.00 pm. Total daily hrs: 10. Duties: help get the children ready in the mornings, do some housework including ironing once a week, go with mum on errands if needed, look after Sveva whilst mum is at work. Time off: Weekends including evenings. You are asked to babysit for a maximum of 5 evenings a week if the parents go out. They don't go out every evening. Salary: € 350.00 p/w, net, (around £ 300.00 p/w, at the current rate of exchange). Family's interests: The family like to practice sports when possible.
