Job Description
| Prato, Tuscany, North Italy. Nanny needed for 1 child, Pier Giorgio aged 1. Religion: Catholic. Dad is a manager, mum is a product specialist. The family speak English and Italian. Pier Giorgio is the family's first child. He will be attending nursery from 8.00 am to 1.30 pm. The family are looking for a nanny to take care of Pier Giorgio in the afternoons till 7.30 pm Monday to Friday. You will be given use of a car so that you can get around with the child. The family live in a large house in the city centre. It is a very spacious house with a large garden. The family have 4 dogs, 3 small dogs and 1 large one. The small dogs live inside, the large dog lives in the garden. Accommodation: own private annexe with separate access. The accommodation is composed of living room, fully equipped kitchen and a sleeping area with a bedroom and bathroom. It has wifi, a TV and a phone for work communications. It is sole use. Other help kept: a housekeeper for 20 hours per week for all the housework. Requirements: Ability to Cook/Swimmer/Driver/Non-Smoker/Experience/English Mother Tongue. The family are looking for a candidate who is an experienced driver, who is smart, punctual, tidy, sweet and loving, polite, flexible and who will respect the house rules. Use of car during working hours and internet given. 6 month placement. Approx hrs of work: 2.00 pm to 7.30 pm. Total daily hrs 5 1/2. Duties: General nursery duties, teaching the child English through games, nursery rhymes, songs, reading him stories, speaking to him. Picking the child up from nursery and taking him to activities, taking him out and about. Time off: Weekends including evenings. You are asked to babysit for 5 evenings a week. Salary: € 350.00 p/w, net, negotiable (around £ 300.00 p/w, at the current rate of exchange). Family's interests: Travel, nature, food, the arts, sports. During holiday times the nanny will be free unless otherwise agreed. House rules: No guests are allowed, own private accommodation should be kept clean and tidy, no alcohol should be consumed, the nights off will be during the weekend. Prato is a lovely town in the heart of Tuscany with easy access to Florence, Pisa, Lucca, Siena. A lovely part of Italy only 30 minutes away from Florence. The family are flexible regarding the start date. |
