F138/10. Genova, North Italy. Au-pair needed for single parent family with one child, Rebecca aged 3 1/2. Both parents are bankers. Other help kept: a housekeeper for 6 hours per week for all th2011e housework. Requirements: Experience/English Mother Tongue. Use of car and internet given. To start 1st February 2012 for 1 year. Approx hrs of work: 4.00pm-6.00pm. Time off: weekends including evenings and another 3 evenings off per week. You are asked to babysit for a maximum of 2 evenings a week. Salary: € 100.00 p/w, negotiable (around £ 90.00 p/w, at the current rate of exchange).  Rebecca goes to mursery from 8.00am till 4.00pm. If she is very tired she sometimes comes home in the afternoon for a nap (approx 1 or max 2 afternoons a week) and in that case she finishes nursery at 1.00pm. The school is located 5 minutes on foot from the family's home. In the morning mum always takes Rebecca to nursery, in the afternoon you will be asked to pick her up. The family live in a new 140sqm apartment in the city centre, 3 minutes from the sea. It is in one of the best areas of Genova. Every 1 1/2-2 months Rebecca spends a week with her grandparents in Tuscany and you will go with her. Also in Tuscany a private bedroom is provided in the grandmother's house. Accommodation: own private bedroom (with large wardrobe, desk and wifi) with a small terrace. Private bathroom. Duties: mum's top priority  is that you speak English with Rebecca and are willing to teach and play with patience. In practical terms you are asked to lay and clear the table at supper, fill the dishwasher, hang out the washing, do the food shopping at the supermarket. Family's interests: Art, sport (skiing, swimming). The family travel to Tuscany and Sardinia. This family is well known to us. They have had an au-pair from the USA who was very happy there and has been with them since February this year.  Genova is a nice seaside town with a historical port. There are some lovely beach resorts all along the coast  with lovely sandy beaches. It is very popular in the summer.
