Dear perspective applicant,

Aurora - her 5 year old little sister.

Rachele and Aurora have had English speaking nannies before, and we speak good English. The nanny will be fully responsible for the children and all nursery duties. Some occasional help with shopping and general supervision of things like water delivery and other home related errands (like a flatmate!).

We are looking for someone who is nice, fun, happy, affectionate, neat, active, independent, not moody, well presented, extremely flexible, well educated, mature, confident, pro-active, driver and prepared to become a part of the family.

We are looking for someone who has had lived successfully away from her family before and is willing to travel. Working hours are from 4PM to 9PM Monday to Friday. Saturday from 9AM to 2PM and from 4PM to 8PM. Sundays off, and one full weekend off per month. Babysitting might be required 2 evenings per week (included Saturday).

Housekeeping and cleaning is the responsibility of Mercedes, a live-out full-time lady from Dominican Republic. Mercedes is Spanish mother tongue, and speaks some basic Italian. She does not speak English.

All meals are supplied when working and the nanny is welcome to eat with the family. You will have your own separate room with en-suite bathroom, supplied with broad band internet access, sat tv and dvd player. You will have 4 weeks paid holidays, mobile phone and sim card supplied. The family might consider to pay for an introductory Italian course to be taken in your own free time after you have completed the trial period.

In the afternoon you would drive to Aurora’s school to pick her up at 4.30PM, then to Rachele’s school to pick her up at 5.00PM and bring them home. You would spend the rest of the afternoon with the girls, help them for the shower and prepare dinner for them.  We are proud of our “enlarged” family, as Alexandra’s parents and sister come to our house very often to spend time and play with the girls. We consider this to be a great gift and a value to share with the girls. Hope you will not consider this in contrast to your sole charge role.
