My name is Maria Boccardo, and I am an Australian with a sound knowledge of

Italian. In 2002 & 2003 I spent 15 months in Italy working as a nanny with

the Doria-Pamphilj family. I have family in the town of Alatri and I will

be returning to Italy the end of January. I have a current work permit

(permesso di soggiorno) and international driver's licence. I would like to

spend several more years in Italy as I love the country and the people. I

am a dependable, hard working, trustworthy and enthusiastic person in all

areas of life.

To whom it may concern

Maria is a valued relative in our family and she has been there for Chris and I on many occasions. When we have asked Maria to look after our boys, Ryan 4 and Jack 21/2, she has replied with, when and what time. She has been a godsend.

There has been many a time when Maria has cared for our children, as Chris and I have been away for a day or two. We can rely on the fact that Maria is honest, warm-loving and a responsible person and we know that our children are in good hands and safe.

Maria is a very active person, and there is no doubt that the children Maria nannies for will not be bored, as she loves to get into the garden and also out and about exploring.

She takes the time to show and tell facts about the environment as she is a bundle of knowledge.

There have been times when discipline has been needed and Maria has handled these occasions well with positive reinforcement, so she can be firm when the need arises.

My children adore Maria not only for the fact that she is their aunty, but also because she has the time and energy to involve the children in whatever activity she does. e.g. cooking cleaning gardening etc whether it is to help or to play.

We will miss Maria for another year or two, but my children will still be talking about her when she is oversea s, and will remember her face when she returns, as before.

Maria is a much-valued asset to us and we highly recommend her to any future employer.
